PINHDAR

concertista

PINHDAR are a Milanese duo made up of singer Cecilia Miradoli and guitarist/producer Max Tarenzi.
It was born following the experiences in the rock band Nomoredolls and in the organization of the international festival A
Night Like This and explores with originality the fusion of trip hop, dark wave elements and electronics, under the influence of
Bristol scene. Their 2019 self-titled debut EP earned praise from British critics, featuring the single “Toy”
broadcast by important radios, such as KEXP. In 2021 they released their first album, “Parallel”, with the
collaboration of legendary producer Howie B, famous Scottish musician and producer already working with artists including Björk, Massive Attack, Tricky, Everything But The Girl, U2.., published by Fruits de Mer Records. The European tour included
prestigious venues such as Stereolux in Nantes and Dr Sardonicus Psych Fest in the UK. In 2023, they complete the new album
“A Sparkle On The Dark Water” with producer Bruno Ellingham, former collaborator of Massive Attack and Portishead.
“Humans” will be released in digital format on Friday 19 January 2024, the first single which anticipates the long-awaited second album “A Sparkle On The Dark Water” scheduled for release on 22 March, a contemplative work of great charm.
“Humans” offers a deep and thoughtful look at the human condition, exploring the nuances of life through
the evocative voice of Cecilia Miradoli and the reverberated guitar and synthetic textures of Max Tarenzi. With a mood
Shadowy and sinuous, fusing elements of trip hop, dream pop and darktronica, the song offers an indulgent look at
    human condition, highlighting its fragility.
The single is accompanied by an amazing video clip created by the Los Angeles-based director/photographer/artist
Telavaya Reynolds (already working with the American Animals As Leaders). His work explores states of consciousness,
generational legacy and the relationship between humans and their environments through photography, video, movement,
sculpture and collage to examine the homologies between the human form, artificial objects and models of the natural world.
These themes are developed through the video clip of “Humans”, the first of a collaboration with PINHDAR and the
    their music.
The strong visual and choreographic connotation makes “Humans” an enveloping experience that fully embodies the vision
artistic work of PINHDAR and represents the perfect preview of the new and enveloping album “A Sparkle On The Dark
Water”. released by Fruits de Mer Records. The European tour included prestigious venues such as Stereolux in Nantes and Dr Sardonicus Psych Fest in UK. In 2023, they complete the new album “A Sparkle On The Dark Water” with producer Bruno Ellingham, former collaborator of Massive Attack and Portishead.
