THE CROWSROADS are a Folk-Rock-Blues Duo formed by brothers Matteo (guitar and vocals) and Andrea Corvaglia (Harmonica and vocals).
They were the winners of the 2022 edition of the Italian Blues Challenge, the main italian contest linked to Blues Music, and in June 2023 they were the official representatives of Italy at the latest edition of the European Blues Challenge held in Chorzow in Poland. In 2016 they had already distinguished themselves at a national level by winning the “L’artista che non c’era” competition for original music.
On the road for over a decade, since they were teenagers, the two brothers have opened concerts for international artists such as Robben Ford, John Popper & Jono Manson, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams (the latter at Strings Theory Music Fest 2019) and many others. In their studio works they have collaborated with Sarah Jane Morris, Jono Manson, Frankie Chavez and F.lli La Bionda/DD Sound.
In summer 2023 they performed at many of the main italian blues-rock festivals.
At the beginning of 2024 “SPACE SHIP” was released, the fourth chapter of their discography, after the EP “Some Sky inside my pocket” (2012) and the aLBUM “Reel” (2016) and “On the Ropes” (VREC Music Label,2018)
