The Strings Music Theory Fest takes place in two editions: the first in Lendinara (RO) in the historic setting of Villa Marchiori dei Cappuccini and the second in Venice, mainly hosted in the Cloister of Sant’Elena (thanks to the collaboration of the Il Chiostro association) .
Villa Marchiori dei Cappuccini was born in 1500 as a Capuchin Convent and has been the summer residence of the noble Marchiori family of Terlago since 1800. The Venetian villa offers a journey into different eras in an incomparable relaxing and magical atmosphere, surrounded by greenery in the center of a centuries-old park. Its unusual structure for a villa in the Veneto which extends out into the 10,000 m2 park which revolves around it like a horseshoe, the influence of its Irish ancestor on the modifications and the strong Art Nouveau soul of the latest changes between late 1800s and early 1900s, give it a unique identity that brings to mind English manors. A unique place, rich in history, art and culture. Headquarters of the cultural association Ellen’s Oak, organizer of international musical events. Villa Marchiori dei Cappuccini incorporates a botanical garden which has allowed the development of the new brand L’Erbario dei Frati for the naturalistic and well-being with holistic, educational and environmental care events, gourmet cuisine and zero-mile organic nutrition.
